Grains of silvery pyrite in white quartz. The pyrite in these samples is very friable and readily falls from the pockets in the quartz.
The tip beside the road, the shaft is just to the right of the pine tree.
A building now used for agricultural purposes is just to the right of the image, though it's original purpose is unknown.

A number of stones used in the building of the wall in front of the nearby farmhouse show evidence of iron inclusions, this oval is approximately 25cm wide.
