Some amphibole crystals and what I believe is microcline contained in a boulder found while exploring the Gunstock Range. I'm not sure if the amphibole crystal near the center of the crystal is terminated or if it had dissolved or been etched in the pocket during formation.
This location consists of assorted piles of boulders from roadcut blasting on RT 11. Access is easy, and there was no signage. A great micro locality!
