“12.8 x 9.5 x 5.4 cm. This find was made maybe 2 to 3 years ago; the specimens were snapped up quickly, and then that was it. And no more have appeared since - the find is pretty surely finished. It consists of these large, fabulous, translucent octahedrons of green fluorite (there are two intergrown, 4-cm crystals on this specimen) sitting on an earlier generation of dark purplish grey fluorite. So there is this wonderful contrast between the two generations of fluorite. The specimen was somehow excavated so that the large crystal which extends over the edge is complete all around, on the back side too! ”
