Flattened hexagonal crystal of deep purple zoned Apatite without matrix. From the finds several years back in the Karibib area of Namibia, this has an etched, frosted luster and good translucency. The crystal is not complete on all edges (typical for this find) but it is undamaged and shows complex recrystallization on some edges. The color is super intense in person, a very nice sizable purple Apatite.
