"This is a Brazilianite from Corrego Frio Mine, Doce valley, near Conselheiro Pena, Minas Gerais, Brazil (TYPE LOCALITY). A stunning, complete-all-around crystal from the original material found in the 1940s and early 1950s, still characteristic and distinct to this day compared to later finds at nearby pegmatites.
