A rare and excellent geode filled with highly-lustrous, translucent, rich-pink Dolomite crystals to 12.5 mm across which host several glassy, clear, blocky crystals of Gypsum (var. Selenite) to 19 mm. The Dolomite crystals exhibit the classic, curved, saddle-shaped habit. This is a very fine piece which displays well, is in excellent condition, and dates to about the mid 1960s, when this collection was assembled.ex. Paul Edwards collection
