I can only second your positive comments on Bert. At our monthly meeting in Antwerp (Mineralogische Kring Antwerpen) last Friday Bert Ottens  presented an incredibly interesting lecture  on the minerals of southern China that were found during the last couple of years. He is not only very knowledgeable, but also a very nice person. This was really a lecture that we will never forget: his photos were examples of perfection in terms of specimens AND photography skills, and we all learned a lot from his his educational and entertaining comments! Thanks again, Bert!
