| Description | It was the idea of Leonard Rocha, Jerry Filby and Dan Lutton to form a club for the education and enjoyment of those in the Yuba-Sutter area who were involved in the collection and study of rocks, minerals and fossils. They soon found others with similar interests and formed a non-profit organization. |
