| Description | Welcome to the Montreal Gem and Mineral Club, which was founded in 1957, incorporated in 1964, and has served gem and mineral hobbyists in Montreal ever since. We are mostly known for our annual gem and mineral show, which takes place in late fall. In 2019 we had our 60th show! The Club also has a workshop-clubhouse, where members gather to practice stone-cutting and polishing, jewelry-making, or just to socialize and exchange information. We also organize rock-collecting field trips and host educational workshops on gemmology, minerology, lapidary and jewelry topics. |
