DescriptionWe sponsor scholarships in higher education; Give talks and demonstration to 1-12 grades at local schools on rocks, minerals, history and geology of our area. Have a display at the Gold Nugget Museum "Days of Living History", Bank of America and at CSU Chico campus. We present an annual Gem and Mineral Show at the Fairgrounds in Chico California with show cases of member's collections and work, demonstrators and dealers in rocks and minerals and lapidary equipment along with the best Silent Rock Auction in Northern California. Our annual club picnic is held in August.
