| North America Research Group is celebrating their 10th anniversary at this year’s 9th Annual Fossil Fest with the theme of petrified wood. Brad Newport from Holleywood Ranch in Sweet Home Oregon and Walt Wright, a world renowned wood identification expert are two of our guest speakers. Walt will be on hand to help identify wood brought to the festival by attendees. Exhibits of exquisite petrified wood, many educational activities for the kids and a visit through the Rice NW Museum are included along with our usual fossil identification and prep demonstrations.
