LocalitiesProposal for a new locality in Madagascar

The proposed locality is Sandranda, Ranomafana, Antananarivo, Madagascar.

I've buy this tourmaline in Madagascar in this place but I don't visit the deposit cave.

Please let me know in case more info are needed.

It is helpful (at least to me) if talk pages are used for proposing new localities. To do so just go to the locality page one level above what you are proposing and click on the discussion tab to create a talk page. In this case there is a Madagascar locality proposal, so I've put the proposal here.

I don't know with precision, the seller told to me that this tourmaline is from Sandranda, Ranomafana. Is it near Antananarivo? I don't know, but may be.

Could you please tell us exactly where you did buy it in Madagascar? In which town/ market place ? It may help us sort out its provenance.

Ranomafana is a common placename in Madagascar, and could refer to several places.

Sandrana is a somewhat strange placename, the word meaning "a strict taboo from ancient ancestral time".

I've buy this tourmaline at Ladigue market in Antananarivo, the capital of Madagascar :-)
