Hello everyone, I just wanted to share an idea I had on a cheap way to mount specimens. I got the idea while shopping at a dollar store. I bought a bag of decorative glass pieces, which were flat on one side and rounded on the other. I then used hot glue to place some specimens on the rounded part, and it looks pretty good! Best of all, it's super cheap, each bag of glass was only a dollar and had at least twenty pieces.

Interesting ID,

Could you show a picture of the glass pieces and illurstrate the process generally?

Thank you~

There is another related thread "Maintaining a collection on a shoestring budget" that discusses this subject of making your own specimen stands. You might refer to that. CHEERS.....BOB
