Improving Mindat.orgJolyon: More corrections that won't "stick"

15th May 2003 06:23 UTCAlan Plante

I don't know what's happening, but I cannot get edits to stick. do you have any idea why?

In the meantime, here's a list of things posted by Krister and Jim a while back that I just tried to fix, but couldn't.

Wilkeite = Ellestadite (He didn't say which species.)

Ferrazite = Gorceixite

Ungursaite = Sodian Calciotantite (?)

Zinalsite = Fraipontite (?)

Kurilite - insufficiently described. Not submitted to IMA.

Trustedtite - IMA approved.

Please update things when you can.

Cheers

Alan

If I recall wilkeite is (most of the time) fluorellestadite, but in my classification notes I listed it as an "ellestadite group mineral", implying that it could be fluor-, chlor- or hydroxylellestadite.
