Hi. <" rel="nofollow">http://www.mindat.org/photo-66439.html> shows a sample that doesn't come from Camporanda. Quartz samples of Camporanda are on a white gypsum matrix and not on limestone; if the photographed sample comes from Tuscany, probably the correct locality is Monteriggioni (Siena Province).

Cristian,

I noticed that you also discussed this topic in the italian-speaking forum. What is the general opinion ?

The correct locality is Monteriggioni (quarry's name unknown at this moment) and not yet in mindat.

Peter, I think that the photo should be deleted and then re-added to the database when we will find the informations needed for Monteriggioni. It is not correct to mantain a wrong photo. What do you think?

I have moved the photo to "Siena province". This is certainly not wrong. A more specific locality can be entered, when you know where it comes from.

Perfect, Peter.

Thanks.

Cristian
