Mineral ExchangesPyromorphite World Wide Collection for Trade

14th Nov 2013 22:59 UTCJeff Weissman Expert

I am significantly downsizing my pyromorphite collection, and many excellent pieces have to go. Many others are either OK or strictly representative of their locality. There are many obscure localities represented, frequently by lower quality MM's.

Looking for MM to TN sized specimens only (after all, I am downsizing) - suite(s) of minerals from specific localities are preferred or more rare species. I would also trade for analytical services. I would also consider uneven trades (you send me fewer) if the offer is tasty!

This may be ideal for someone looking to do research into pyromorphite!

Some numbers:

142 specimens

114 localities represented

micromounts - 58

thumbnails - 19

miniature - 38

small cabinet - 19

cabinet - 8

Full list available, please send me a PM Thanks for the interest, all specimens are accounted for!

thanks

Do you have pictures?

Hi there,

just read your interesting offer. I am pyromorphite collector as well and I am currently writing an EXTRALAPIS pyromorphite-mimetite-vanadinite...

Would you be so kind to send me a list and, if possible, also photos of the larger specimens (cabinet, small cabinet, miniature)?

I guess, I would have something to trade, e. g. from the Black Forest, but also from many other world-wide localities, but I couzld also image to buy (if this would be an option).

Best regards and thanks

Gregor

Michael - I sent you a PM

Danny - most do not have photos, but a few are on Mindat, see http://www.mindat.org/user-9604.html#2_0_3320_0_0_0_ but not all of these are on the trade list.

Gregor - please send me a PM, I will then send you a list of what is left.

Hola Sergio,

Saludos,

Adrián Pesudo

Hello Jeff,

I am interested in esthetic miniature, small cabinet or cabinet sized pyromorphite specimens. I will buy or barter. Do you have good quality

photographs? If so, please email me on exclusiveminerals2@gmail.com. When you reply, I will also give you the url to my website. This

will show you good pictures of some of the pieces I would consider trading out.

Sincerely

Matthew Webb
