A reported lode Au occurrence/workings located in the SW¼SW¼ sec. 31, T18N, R12E, MDM, about 8.6 km NE of Omega, on the divide between Clear Creek and Fall Lake Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters. The shaft is located in the SW¼SW¼ nearly on the boundary of sec. 31 and sec. 6, T17N, R12E.
Local rocks include Paleozoic marine rocks, undivided, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada) and/or Quaternary glacial deposits.
Workings include underground openings comprised of a shaft.
