Comments:Analyses performed on disseminated tennantite (fahlore) hosted in the sandstone rich in plant remnants observable on the right orographic side of the gorge at the Taubenleck locality gave the following results: Cu 44.3 wt.%, As 15.0 wt.%, Zn 8.7 wt.%, Fe 0.2 wt.%, S 26.3 wt.% (Niedermayr & Niedermayr, 1983).
Due to the acceptance of the IMA 18-K proposal, the mineral is presently classifiable as tennantite-(Zn).
