help id pls found this in silica sand along a hillside.. would kinda like to know if this is amphibole group of minerals ?

amphibole? fossil wood? coprolite?

Hard to tell without more information.

There is a flat surface on this which might help identify it and it looks rather amorphous and very fine granular texture white to light greenish , where its brownish there are long fibrous features from one end to the other direction.
