Generalproper lacation name

My question is regards to posting locations. If I am posting a photo from a location close to a known mine would I use the name of that mine? For example I have several interesting things from the same hill on which the Hilltop mine in Az is located would I use the mine name or small prospect in the vicinity of or drop the mine name altogether and use a physical name of a pass or peak or drainage? thanks

In general you would use a different locality - unless the exposure you are collecting from is directly related to the mine workings (eg it is a surface exposure of the vein being worked underground).

Normally in these situations we would ask you do this:

If your original locality was something like

XYZ mine, Boot Hill, Pima Co., Arizona, USA

We would ask you to add something like

Unnamed quartz exposure, Boot Hill, Pima Co., Arizona, USA

and add the appropriate minerals to that locality.

Jolyon, are you saying that we should add a sub locality? Or are you just saying to add that to the caption or the title of the photo?
