LocalitiesSaint-Eustache Quarry (Carrière et pavage Saint-Eustache; Mathers Quarry), Saint-Eustache, Deux-Montagnes RCM, Laurentides, Québec, Canada

Seeking status-history of the Saint-Eustache Quarry, Quebec. I was gifted a crate of nice dolomite specimens from this locality in 2018, by the son of a deceased collector. These are very lustrous, classic dolomite specimens, with the noted, uncommon, fluorescence.
The collector loved to collect, but never did anything with what he collected. The specimens are still in the 1972 newspaper that he wrapped them with ! Fortunately there was a faded masking tape label on the side of the wooden crate.

Lucky you......may I suggest that you try connecting with Quintin Wight <qwight@sympatico.ca> and/or Claude Gagnier <claudegagnier@hotmail.com> who may have knowledge and experience of and with the Saint-Eustache Quarry in Quebec.

Regards,
