Falkenstenite

System:Tetragonal
A Mixture Of:Albite-Anorthite Series, Albite-Anorthite Series, Chlorite Group

Re-examination of the original material (from Falkensten, Horten-Borre, Vestfold, Norway) showed that "Falkenstenite" should be regarded as a mixture - probably of plagioclase, clinopyrozene and chlorite (Raade, 1996).

Formerly considered an incompletely examined zeolite mineral [Clark, 1993 - "Hey's Mineral Index"].
