Brevicit

German synonym of:Natrolite


On old labels used as a synonym for natrolite from a syenite-pegmatite (Langesundsfjord area, Norway).
First mentioned by Berzelius (a zeolite forming acicular or tabular crystals) in a trachyte-like rock from Brevig (now Brevik).
