Castell Mine (Dyffryn Castell Mine; New Castell Mine; West Esgairlle Mine; Gwaithddu Mine; Cripiau Bach Mine), Ponterwyd, Cwmrheidol, Ceredigion (Dyfed; Cardiganshire), Wales, UK
Tiny acicular rutile crystals to 0.5mm on quartz. Rutile forms part of an early alpine cleft type mineralization. Associated with faulting in the mid-Wales area.
