Work on vein

Drill and blast patterns on Le Rouquis area. Vein was mainly made of pure sphalerite (massive and dark), and some quartz. The miner was preparing the blast with dynamite and ANFO.

Inside the mine (Le Rouquis area)

View of a mine drift in Le Rouquis area (satellite part of the St Salvy vein). In this area, ore was extracted using cut and fill method. November 1993.

View of mine buildings (office, workshop, ore concentrator) taken on Nov.16th 1993, during the last few months of mine activity.
Main underground access was through an adit located on the right hand side of the picture.
