Harpax

Description

The harpax or harpago (Greek: ἅρπαξ lit. "grabber, seizer, robber"; GEN ἅρπαγος harpagos) was a Roman catapult-shot grapnel created by Marcus Vipsanius Agrippa for use against Sextus Pompey during the naval battles of the Sicilian revolt.
