“Obtained at the Sainte-Marie Show in 2019, ex. Paul Zerfass collection. This piece exhibits, in my opinion, the best of the French Blue of fluorite. To me, the color is stunning in person. The top half of the piece has no matrix behind it, so it is a bit lighter in color than the other half, which is a deeper blue. That small color contrast is enchanting to me.
