5.7 x 4.5 x 2.7 cm. Textbook Carlsbad-twinned orthoclase crystals are extraordinarily rare from this famous open pit copper mine. In fact, any orthoclase crystals are rare. This striking grayish-tan crystal has moderate lustre. Ex. Bob Trimingham Collection and probably collected in an old upper level in the late 1940s or early 1950s, according to Bob's label.
