“Tiny orange-red crystal to 1 mm in weathered marble. Visually identified on-site by the locality expert Petko Petrov, head curator of Mineralogy at the National Museum of Earth and Man in Sofia.
Associated closely with pale blue spinel crystals and occasional forsterite.
Collected May 2007 in the 'yellow Rocks' area above the Byala Reka (White River)in the Pirin Mountains.(see locality photos). Colleen Thomson collection.
