Most of the time, Pakistani Pyrite occurs as tiny crystals, often amorphous, etched or damaged, which makes this one quite remarquable despite being uncomplete due to a contacted corner. The lustrous limonite coating adds some pizzaz to the humble crystal. I bought this crystal in 2004 in Gilgit from a seller who couldn't provide a locality of origin, so this could be from anywhere around.
