Large olivine-rich clasts (light green) are part of the dark green Cambrian Snap Lake Kimberlite that intrudes the Archaean rocks of the Slave Craton. This was Canada's only totally underground diamond mine and the only one in the Northwest Territories. DeBeers was unable to sell this mine so they have put it out of production by flooding the mine and allowing it to freeze.
