“The sample is 3 cm x 3 cm. The sample was collected on the Beavis Bar in 1983. Carnelian such as this is relatively rare in the Fraser River gravels. The fluvial transport surfaces of the clast and the rounding of the grain are quite visible. There is a faint horizontal banding on the sample so it is a complete half nodule. ”
