Gemmy, pale yellow, tetragonal crystal of scapolite. Singly-terminated with a fractured base. This specimen originated from an unidentified mine in Tanzania. Under short wave UV, deep red fluorescence is seen, and a pale pink response is seen under long wave UV (see other photographs).
