“An extraordinary Pingwu location piece that features three snow-white microcline crystals as the dominant mineral with muscovite and aquamarine as accessories. The trio of blocky, textbook microcline crystals measure 4.5, 3.9 and 2.5 cm in maximum dimension, respectively. The microclines are partially encircled by elongate nests of silvery 4 to 6 mm, platy muscovite crystals for great accent. On one side there is a pair of mostly complete, light sky-blue, tabular aquamarine crystals for wonderful contrast and aesthetics in conjunction with the bright white microclines. The aquamarines are glassy, transparent to translucent displaying numerous small growth hillocks on many faces. The microcline crystals are in excellent condition. This combination piece is well composed and well balanced; a very unique combination specimen from this important modern-era (1990s-today on and off) locality. ”
