Absolutely textbook, in perfect balance with its mother-rock, a glassy surface crystal of Adularia, with superb luster and excellent translucence. In addition, there is a little Hematite (Iron Rose) at the top of the specimen, measuring mm 4. Adularia crystal size: cm 1,9. Difficult to photograph. Better in person! A cluster of colorless, opaque to water-clear quartz crystals hosts a 1.9 cm wide group of flat hematite crystals. The hematite faces are decorated with numerous small, translucent to transparent, deep red rutiles which reach 2 mm in length. Specimen size: 6.0 x 4.3 x 3.8 cm (2.4 x 1.7 x 1.5 inches)
