Cellular mass of creamy white to pale yellow monetite crystals. Some of the crystals have a crude spike-like aspect. Some minor white powdery encrustation is probably brushite. FOV = 8 mm.

Possibly the best Monetite samples ever found from a small find in Kedah. This Guano mineral sits on top of a nanoparticle quartz layer. Berlinite fits the major peak, but the pattern is missing the minor Berlinite peaks therefore Berlinite is not a great fit. There is also an unidentified peak in the XRD.
