After a day of not finding anything I decided to whack this big white bolder out of frusteration and it splits right down the middle and there you have it. Quite the surprise.

Kirk No. 3 Quarry, Gilsum, Cheshire County, New Hampshire, USA

I found this in Gilsum on a nice hot sunny day. A friend of mine was with me. We both decided that we would split the days finds evenly. Well, when this came out of the ground, I really wanted it bad. I was cleaning it up and I spit on it, and after that, my friend says "well, that one is yours, that's disgusting" lol...So it's a whole green beryl with a partial growing on the outside of it, with a complete brown crystal coming up out of the center of the green. Really nice!
