Blue Max Mine Workings

Fernandez prospect, Morris Peak, Indian Wells Canyon Mining District, Kern County, California, USA

Some of the only remaing wood work. This is at the tunnel entrance, looking east toward Inyokern and Ridgecrest. The mine entrance was not affected by a rescent fire but I did see other burned wood - buildings perhaps - in the area. Close to this photo was a small tailing pile and two pieces of small guage metal rail (track).

Good view, too.
