A former surface perlite and pumice mine located in sec. 29, T6S, R29E, near the Black Hills Rockhound area and near the Black Hills Back Country Byway (road).
Mineralization includes a volcanic suite of obsidian, pumice, and unconsolidated volcanic ash.
