A small lead mine near Porthilly farm, which was at work before 1580. Hamilton Jenkin identified two shafts, both of them now obliterated, which suggest that the mine worked on a SE-trending lode. It is therefore unlikely that this lode was an extension of the NS-trending lode worked at North Porthilly Mine (as is suggested in the addenda to the 1994 reprint of Dines). The grid reference marks the approximate position of the northern shaft.
There are no records of output.
