Location: This prospect is at an elevation of about 300 feet, about midway between Basket Bay and Kook Lake. The prospect is 0.6 mile east-southeast of the northwest corner of sec. 31, T. 48 S., R. 65 E. It is MAS no. 0021140216 (U.S. Bureau of Land Management, 2002). The location probably is accurate within a mile.
Geology: The rocks in the vicinity of this prospect are part of the Silurian and/or Devonian, Kennel Creek Limestone which consists of limestone with minor dolomite, limestone breccia, shale and siltstone (Loney and others, 1975). The only information about this prospect is that a claim was staked here for an unstated commodity (U.S. Bureau of Land Management, 2002).
