In the collection of the Evje og Hornnes geomuseum Fennefoss there are a number of samples from "Grøsle", indicating that this has been a feldspar quarry.

At the altitude map two quarries can be seen close next to each other, north of the Grøsle farm. It cannot be gueanteed that these are the right ones, but it seems plausible.
