A former surface placer Ti-Fe deposit located about 2 miles SE of the Tom Mix Monument (along state route 79), approximately 2 miles off the W side of the road. Additional location in secs. 7, 8, 17, 20. Owned by Southwestern Iron and Steel Inc. of Arizona (1964); and by the Tiago Mining Co. (Subsidiary Iropox) of Arizona (1980). Operated by Arkota Steel and Sovereign Industries of Arizona (1967).
