A Au occurrence/group of claims located in the SW¼SE¼ and SE¼SW¼ sec. 23 & in the NW¼NE¼ and NE¼NW¼ of sec. 26, T7N, R13E, MDM, 2.5 km (1.5 miles) SE of Barton, on the ridge W of the North Fork Mokelumne River, on private land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.

Mineralization is a quartz vein deposit hosted in granodiorite. The vein is 12 inches (30 cm) thick. Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

The claims (Echo Restoration claim; Economy Restoration claim; and the Restoration Nos. 1 to 4 lode claims) were examined by a Bureau of Land Management examiner, who concluded that returns from assays of samples indicted values too low to support valid discovery.
