A former gypsum mine located in the SW¼SW¼ sec. 20, T13S, R9E, SBM, 14.4 km (8.9 miles) SSE of Ocotillo Wells (San Diego County), on the southern slope of the western tip of the southern arm of the Fish Creek Mountains. Owned & operated by the U.S. Gypsum Company, California (1991). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. This locality is quite a distance NW of Plaster City.
