A reported placer Au occurrence located in the N½NW¼ sec. 8, T8N, R13E, MDM, 1.1 km (0.7 mile) WSW of Brownsville (site) and 1.8 km (1.1 miles) S of Omo Ranch, on the divide between Brownsville Creek and Dark Canyon Creek, E of their confluence. Property is comprised of 20 acres. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 500 meters.
Local rocks include Paleozoic metavolcanic rocks, unit 4 (Western Sierra Nevada Foothills) and/or Tertiary pyroclastic and volcanic mudflow deposits, unit 9 (Cascade Range).
