A former clay deposit/mine located in sec. 25, T29S, R37E & in sec. 30, T29S, R38E, MDM, 4.0 km (2.5 miles) ENE of Ricardo (site). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 10 meters.

Local rocks include Plio-Pleistocene and Pliocene loosely consolidated deposits and/or Tertiary volcanic flow rocks, unit 16 (Northern Mojave Desert).

Workings include surface and underground openings.
