A crushed stone quarry located in secs. 10 & 11, T1N, R6W, MDM, 1.0 km (3,200 feet) E of Greenbrae, NE of the junction of U.S. highway 101 and Sir Francis Drake highway. Operated by the Hutchinson Company. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters. Quarrying began in 1925 and production was achieved the following March. Still active in 1955. Produced jetty stone and crushed stone for paving. Rock dust and a portion of the coarser aggregate were utilized in an asphalt batch mixing plant.

Local rocks include rocks of the Franciscan melange and/or Quaternary alluvium and marine deposits.

Workings include surface openings comprised of 2 quarries, the one to the E being the one currently operated.
