A Hg occurrence located in sec. 19, T3N, R25E, MDM, 4.7 km (2.9 miles) NNE of Dunderberg Peak, along Dunderberg Creek, on National Forest land. MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 1,000 meters.

MRDS file note: These placers are located by numbers on Pl. 1 of Tucker and Sampson. They could possibly be the quicksilver claim locations shown in this section of the mineral map.

Local rocks include Mesozoic granitic rocks, unit 3 (Sierra Nevada, Death Valley area, Northern Mojave Desert and Transverse Ranges).

NOTE: Placer Hg deposits commonly involve placer cinnabar, although this is not necessarily the case.
