A former Cr occurrence/mine located in sec. 6, T13N, R11E, MDM, about 3.1 km (2 miles) SSE of Foresthill, along the N bank of the Middle Fork American River, between Olind Canyon and Volcano Canyon, on private land within a National Forest area. Owned by Mc Fadden, Fitzgerald and Berard (1942). MRDS database stated accuracy for this location is 100 meters. Location uncertain. This is one of many localities placed into a very large area termed the "Forest Hill Divide area" by Rynearson.

Local rocks include ultramafic rocks, chiefly Mesozoic, unit 2 (Western Sierra Nevada and Klamath Mountains).
